Stacey Trien has been selected as a Kaye Scholar.
Stacey will receive the award on November 14, 2016 in the Ceremonial Courtroom in the Southern District of New York. As a recipient, Stacey will attend the 2017 Commercial Litigation Academy in May. The goal of the Scholar designation is to help increase the number of women taking a leadership role in commercial cases litigated in both the state and federal courts in New York.
“The late Honorable Judith Kaye continues to serve as a role model through her accomplishments as the first female Chief Judge in New York and her lifelong commitment to public service,” said Stacey. “In fact, Judge Kaye visited Rochester frequently to support the efforts of the Rochester Teen Court. I am honored to receive the Kaye Scholarship and will use this experience to further both my professional career and public service.”
