Ethics 2018: Legal Ethics for the Real World
Mary Jo S. Korona served on an New York State Bar Association CLE panel in the presentation of Ethics 2018: Legal Ethics for the Real World. This CLE program focused on hypotheticals derived from recent ethics inquires in the review of the New York Rules of Professional Conduct in relationship to changes in forms of practice, business development, fees and other kinds of compensation, and lawyer advertising, as well as questions about competence, confidentiality and conflicts of interest, and ethics issues that arise in litigation. Mary Jo was pleased to be asked to serve as a panel member. This marks the fourth time she has served on the panel.
